Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK Zahir Tanin discussed today with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic the importance of continuing the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, comprehensive agreement and intensifying the process to preserve and further regional peace and stability.

According to the United Nations website, Vucic and Tanin had talks ahead of the UN Security Council session at which the report of the UN Secretary-General António Guterres on the work of UNMIK will be discussed, as part of regular consultations in advance of the session.

"Tanin and President Vucic exchanged views on issues related to the normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Pristina, with Tanin reiterating the United Nations’ commitment to support the EU-facilitated dialogue", reads the statement on the UN website.
